The size and functionality of this faceted mount was excellent. It automatically reverts to faucet mode when you turn off the water, and the filters themselves seem to last a long time. However (and as you can see in the picture) they do become an eyesore over time due to the way they are made. The chrome started to peel off within a few months and from the picture it looks like it's been around 18 months since purchase. . Finally I decided to get rid of it. I bought a stainless steel filter (Engenton) that has the same if not better reviews and I can already say it's made to last. I would also like to add that since the filter is also a bottom piece that you screw on and off to replace, filters create more waste than necessary. So every time you change the filter, you're throwing away a whole chunk of extra plastic.
