I am an adult with a very small head. Years ago I realized that a youth hat fits better than a women's hat, so I buy all colors if I find one that really fits. I did that with this hat. My head circumference is 20 inches and the medium size fits perfectly. He is very comfortable. Looks great. Even with the smaller brim, it protects my face from the sun, which it should do. also breathes and doesn't make my head sweat.
