My dear old lady is twice as heavy as me, but she always walked well on a leash. (1) I want to talk about bungee tying because I brought back leashes with so-called bungee ties that didn't "give" at all. The optional bungee mount actually works like a bungee! It's also good if you have a more active dog or go on forest trips. If you've ever traveled to a place that requires attachment, you'll definitely need a bungee mount to avoid a muscle strain when a squirrel walks by. (2) LEAD: 10ft long VERY light and has a bit of stretch to cushion the pull without putting me at risk of falling. The grip is also more comfortable than a traditional strap grip. When I walked my dear old lady on this leash for the first time, we both noticed a big difference in the perception of freedom. For the first time she trotted to the nearest good smell. I'm pretty old fashioned so wasn't sure what to expect from a non-traditional single strap leash. Now I'm a believer. 5 Stars!
