Westone definitely never let you down. I have UM1 and AM-Pro 10 in-ear headphones that I use for our band rehearsals and live performances, and the B50s aren't for live performances or rehearsals, but the sound is so rich and detailed that I'd use it can't take something else now. I am spoiled. I know I'll have to ask my home mixer to turn the bass EQ down a bit on my channel, but I'll get used to it. It comes with a Bluetooth cable so I can use it for my daily walks and workouts. It's also weatherproof, so a complete set in its own right. Yes expensive or shall we say expensive but you get what you pay for. If you're looking for premium sound, crystal clear detail, superb and punchy bass and no distortion even at full volume, you've come to the right place. You will not be disappointed. But as with all Westone products, a good fit is key. Surprisingly, it's not that critical for this model. I mean, a simple silicone ear tip can deliver sound quality you won't believe your ears, but once you find an ear tip that fits the shape of your ear canal, the experience is incredible. It's good? I've been using them for a few days now, just walking around the block or rehearsing with a band and am still amazed at how these in-ear headphones handle high volumes without any distortion whatsoever. The bass response is incredible. The highs are subtle and crystal clear, rather than harsh and punchy like many so-called higher-response headphones. I would say the frequency response is crisp yet powerful. The highs are thin but precise, and the bass is punchy but comfortable. I truly believe that you will not find thinner audiophile headphones on the market. Oh I almost forgot they also come with interchangeable ear pads so now I can use the Orange headphones. Plate for the right ear and a black plate for the left so I never have to guess which it is again. Smart move, Weston!
