Well I bought this product knowing I was getting what I paid for, a cheap amp. But if it was at least half of what was said then I would be fine with that. I have 2 subwoofers, one is 10" and the other is 12" and both are DVC 1100W (400 RMS). I initially connected the subs in parallel and gave each sub its own channel (2-channel amp) as I thought that would give the best result. It really got them moving, but it doesn't really "make the car rattle" like I know from these subwoofers. Then I did some more research and daisy chained the subs, then connected both subs together (both neg subs on neg channel 1 and both pos+ subs on pos+ channel 2) and OMG. This amp is definitely worth the money. All the people saying that thing are barely moving the subwoofer. Wrong connection, everything is simple. Do your research, find the best way to hook up your speakers to the type of amp you need to get the most out of it, buy the right amp kit for your amp and with that 5kW amp you will need a capacitor. if you did it right you will know. Most of what I ran with the amp in one session was an hour and it was hot as barley, on my next trip I'll see how long it takes before it overheats. Cool modern look but I'd trade all that quirkiness for a few more watts and a solid amp, which is exactly what it is. Thank you Revane, TY Pyramid.
