bad product on ice machines

I bought this make and model at a local mall. The manufacturer is difficult to deal with if the product breaks during the warranty period. If, like most people, I refuse the receipt, the Hamilton Beach Company insists that I pay to have a new one shipped because I don't have the receipt. The Hamilton Beach Company has lost a customer forever. the ice machine broke in the first two weeks,
