I was hoping that this was like a flannel material, something good for chilly days, but not as oppressive as fleece. This is a poly-rayon material that is as thin and functional as t-shirt material. I don't feel warned up by it at all, but if you are looking for a housecoat to cover up with that has pockets and isn't as frumpy, this does well. Because the material is so thin/soft, if you put a large phone in your pocket it will fall out when you bend over. And the pocket placement isn't in a natural location for me, so I don't get as much use out of them as I would have wished.It is true to size (I wear an XXL), the zipper bottom is at my knees, and the sleeves are true 3/4 sleeves. So, it covers everything I wanted covered. It's far from perfect or what I wished it would be, but for the price point I think I got a fair deal.
