Works as intended but the design doesn't take into account that most lumber, scrap wood or whatever is not of its nominal size. this. Board is 1 inch thick, not 1 inch. I have used this to guide the ends of finished rocker panels that come with straight ends. Instead of cutting at an angle and adding a piece to the ends, routing the ends uses less wood and is less of a hassle. I can adjust the depth to fit the concave part of the drawing and most of the bullnose. I then sanded the edge to smooth it out and the difference in shape is completely imperceptible. So ultimately the drill bit does what it's designed to do and there haven't been any quality issues so far, but I'd like the manufacturer to design with actual wood size rather than nominal dimensions. With a little more effort it works. If I can find 1" of raw lumber I might mill all the boards myself, but that'll probably cost more than prefabricated tongue and groove boards or MDF.
