Make no mistake with the Motorola OEM Cable

Think of ANY phone that does not have wireless charging capability and should only charge from the USB port. If the connection on the phone is bad then eventually the battery will die and you will be stuck with a dead phone without being able to charge the phone. I had charging issues with more than one universal cable. Plug in the common wire and pray I see the lightning bolt icon on the battery icon. Most of the time I see it charging, but sometimes (more often now) I don't see it charging after I plug it in. I started looking for a new phone. And then it dawned on me. Why bother with cheap generics when I can buy genuine Motorola cables? I'll take the chance with a new Motorola cable to see if the problem is with my phone's USB-C port or with the charging cable. Of course this is a few dollars more expensive but very cost effective compared to replacing your phone if your phone is USB. Port C is corrupted by generics. Because this is a Motorola factory, the cable is exactly the same as the one that came with your phone. The lifespan of my Motorola Z2 Play has just been extended by using Motorola factory cables which charge my phone every time. Single. time!I am very happy with my purchase!Motorola phone? Use Motorola cables. Enough said.
