I'm a 5ft 3in female, weigh 140 pounds and ordered a size large. They fit my waist perfectly. I may have ordered XL for extra comfort. They are too long but I only wear them indoors. If it makes me angry, I cut them off. 😅 I just wanted super warm and cheap pajamas. They don't flatter my figure, but I'm not trying to impress anyone. I'm just tired of being cold! Now I live in them. I always wash them inside out and alone to avoid getting wool on everything. Just in case. The pair I bought don't seem to have this problem, but I'm not taking any chances. They're so warm it's like sitting under a blanket all day! A very worthwhile purchase.
