Gas inlet broke and unable to light

I have followed all of the instructions,but cannot seem to get things to the proper temperature to melt copper or even silver for that matter. Gas is flowing,but for some reason,the temperature is not getting high enough to return. It is high enough to the propane tube red, but for some reason, copper is not melting inside the forge. I have used thread tape on all fittings,so it’s not leaking from there.Ok, my friend reminded me this forge is simply made poor material. Devil series are definitely far better options for melting forge.
