This is almost impossible to figure out. I bought this kit as a fun project that I could do with my neices girls. Both her and I were totally perplexed as to how to begin. We are both pretty crafty so we couldn't believe that we couldn't figure it out. She checked YouTube and we still couldn't get it. The instructions are totally useless. It just so happened that her husband came in after we had tried to make these bracelets for about an hour or more and he said he had made these in high school and might remember how to do it. So he saved the day and helped the little ones make a bracelet each and everyone was happy. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me and gave up on having one for myself. The next day the oldest daughter made me one so all was not lost.
