My Hoover wind tunnel hasn't cleaned that well the last few months. Eventually the hammer stopped rotating on contact with the carpet, although it did rotate when held away from the carpet. When this kit arrived the bristles on the new rotating racquet shaft were about 1/8 inch longer than the old ones. I didn't realize how worn the bristles were. The new belt was so much smaller than the old one that I was surprised the part numbers matched. The old belt was very stretched, preventing him from turning the racquet. Now my vacuum cleaner cleans like new. I am very glad that I saved on the price of a new vacuum cleaner.
