Review on Kingston Brass K133A1 Designer Trimscape Showerscape 2-1/4-Inch Shower Head: Luxurious Polished Chrome by Jenny Thomas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't think they made them like this anymore, but I'm glad I was wrong.

Have you ever held a piece of solid brass in your hands? When you order this shower head you will have it because it is a solid brass shower head that has been machined into a shower head. It comes fully assembled as shown but can be disassembled into 4 parts which I find makes cleaning up much easier when hard water build up. It weighs about 1 pound. and to say that it is made qualitatively is nothing to say. It has a 2.5 gallon flow restrictor that can be easily removed without tools if you need more flow, but to be honest it's one of the few new shower heads I've tried that doesn't mess with the restrictor feels anemic. I bought this shower head for $38 and got it for $41 with a few after tax modifications. That's a lot considering the plastic knockoffs sold in major stores cost $59 (at the time of writing this article). If you don't need a rain style shower head then get this one, it is exactly what is advertised.

Pros
  • Fixed shower heads
Cons
  • Hard to say
