I am so glad I found and bought this mat. This greatly reduced garbage tracking. I have hardwood floors in my house and I've tried different litters (picky and unhappy cats) so I've decided to go back to the litter they like and I don't mind, but I've started changing carpets . After a lot of research, I decided on this rug first and I am absolutely thrilled! It is soft for my cats and very easy to clean. The best feature is that a mat is perfect for a regular sized crate with more mats for them to walk around when they are kicking and burying poop. Its own features catch dirt when it's thrown or kicked by its paws (which helps keep their paws clean, making cats happier), and there's a lot less dirt on the floors that needs constant sweeping. Highly recommended for cat households. My oldest son bought a carpet for his house and a cat. He uses it on carpets with the same great results. Cleaner house, cleaner cat paws and a happier kitten.
