Very thick, strong and initially stiff but becomes more flexible with use. This is exactly what I was looking for. It's very thick and stiff around the pin hole, doesn't flex or slip after tightening the watch, connects very firmly to my 22mm Citizen. This is usually my area of complaints with other third party leather straps. The only improvement I can think of is to reduce the size/weight of the buckle a bit, which is overkill at the moment.
