I usually use glycerine soap base to make soap with my grandkids when they are over. They love finding herbs and flowers to add to their soaps and lavender is their favorite scent. This time I tried the shea butter base to avoid a POSSIBLY allergy to coconut and the product arrived lovely and safe, minimally packaged and shipped quickly. Although we mixed in about a fifth of the remaining glycerine base, the soap is very opaque and very soft. Feels luxurious and they loved swimming with it, but it quickly disappears. I knew this beforehand, but was surprised at how different it was from glycerin. Of course, the three young people were too busy slowly applying the add-ons, so the pretty petals, etc. disappeared into the opaque base, but floated enough to look interesting in the pink-shaped 'stripes', and they're happy to bring them With. Home as a gift for friends and family. Of course it absorbed the smell perfectly and I would order it again but probably use it differently.
