Yes, finding the perfect toaster is difficult. To be realistic, none of the expectations available on the market meet my expectations or yours. Sometimes the cheapest at $10 at Walmart works better than many of the more expensive brands. Having said that, I wanted to give my kitchen a newer, more modern look and this toaster looks great, easy to clean, works well overall, but it's true that it doesn't toast bread evenly. The top is always more roasted than the bottom, so yes. Not perfect. Many customers will be disappointed. I personally don't eat much bread so my expectations were met. I'm pretty happy, but I'm just saying that MANY toasters have the same problem: they don't toast evenly. no matter how expensive they are. This often happens with so many types of toasters. Given that this is a common mistake with toaster ovens, yes I am satisfied. And it looks great, it's really beautiful.
