I bought it specifically for pairing a monitor and a laptop without unnecessary wires. Does not work. Left the old USB Type-C cable through which everything works (the connectors are "straight" without the "letter G" Has pros: Neat, well made, well made. Convenient L-shaped connector The smartphone is charging. File sharing is possible. With its cons: I tried to connect the laptop to the monitor using this cable. The laptop is charging, but there is no signal on the monitor.
