I love this product! I'm so glad someone thought of doing this. I just watched a documentary on Netflix about plastic and my daughter uses plastic straws and cups. To support the campaign I decided to buy all sorts of things that can replace what we are currently using. A little hassle, but I think 1 user less plastic should make a difference. UPDATE: They recently sent me their updated straws and I can't tell you enough how much I love their silicone straws, they now come in a variety of fun colors and the straw feels a lot thicker than the first one I ordered have, and much stronger . We started using the first straw design when my daughter was a year old and just learning to drink from a straw and because it was wide enough it was easier for her to drink green juice. She is 4 years old now and (really) we just moved in October and my mum threw away all the straws, that was really the only time she stopped using them. To be honest I was delighted when they asked if they could send me their recycled straw. Now my daughter can continue to use it for her drinks and it would be perfect for the silicone lids I got for my 6 month old.
