Spring Was Different
After watching the installation video on YouTube, I installed the parts from the bag into the dryer. The only problem with the parts in the package was the spring. The hooks on the ends of the old spring were offset 180 degrees. The hooks on the ends of the new one have just been offset 90 degrees. It took me a bit of fiddling around before I found a way to get the new spring to work. I'm keeping the old quill as a backup, just in case. Now I have a quiet dryer again. :)
