If I didn't have to waste so much ink to get this cartridge to print properly

I would have to put this cartridge (Made in China, 9/2017) through my 6500A three two stage cleaning cycles before it could print properly. Initially, he didn't print black at all. Previous cartridges (made in Ireland) had no problems before the ink ran out. Because the printer cleans all the printheads at the same time, my color cartridge count is definitely fewer than before I installed these black ones. If I didn't have to spend so much ink to print this cartridge correctly I would give it 5 stars.
