It's good in many ways, but the round part that does the crushing/pressure (as mentioned in many reviews) fits so loosely where the garlic goes that it crushes most of the garlic . and around it, so you have to put all the uncrushed garlic back in the bowl for another try. But the garlic peeler that comes with it is good, and the pins that push the chopped garlic through the holes are very functional (and fit well). The sad part is that it will still be a solid 3.5 star product (for the price). ) if the description wasn't a lie: it's galvanized metal, most likely galvanized, but it's not stainless steel. The description didn't lie what it's made of, it would have been a solid, recommended product. Anyway, it's kinda easier and quicker to use a mortar and pestle (at least if you're making a lot of cloves), and heaven only knows what was used to make that damn thing. If those doing marketing, don't mind making lies about construction stuff, but to me that's an automatic mistake.
