I am 5’5” and 127 lbs. I usually wear US small. I ordered a medium because my intention was to wear the sweater vest as a dress.The length of the vest alone is not long enough to be worn as a dress. I tried layering over a man’s dress shirt but I will be much more comfortable with a longer base layer and will order a white shirt dress. The vest is a bit boxy and does not hang relaxed. The fabric is acceptably soft and has some stretch. I love the pattern on the front but it does not carry to the back. The colors are crisp and true black and white.Generally speaking, I like the sweater vest. The style of it is a nod to a bygone decade but the oversized length brings it into modern times. As for fit, I would recommend ordering your normal size if you plan on wearing pants and up a couple of sizes if you want good rear coverage wearing as a dress-but keep in mind the the boxy construction may be an issue by upsizing.
