I argued for a long time about Bellemain and Secura before deciding on Bellemain. I can't think of any additional benefits that Secura could offer for the extra price. Well, Bellemain certainly doesn't disappoint. I am very happy with the fit and finish, the quality of the material etc. The French Press is a simple mechanical device and the Bellemain offers very reliable performance. The Secura has a three-layer fabric and the Bellemain has two, like most presses. but the net is pressed tightly against the inner wall and does an excellent job of filtering the viscous out of the liquid. He does it so well that I see no reason for a 3rd shift. Bellemain's only minor design suggestion is to put a mark on the cap to let the user know where the notch is so the user can correctly align the cap with the scion. to water. Yes, the user can just look and align before clicking the sidebar, but I don't bother with that as a matter of principle. Instead I put a small sticker dot on the cap to indicate where the notch is and it works for me.
