**update**Adding a couple stars because the customer service team did get back to me and sent me a replacement pepper grinder. I decided to go with the OXO style which isn't as pretty as this one but more functional, so I haven't been able to test out the replacement so haven't figured out if mine was a dud or if there is a product problem.I would not recommend this peppermill. Like other reviews, it looks great and works great, AT FIRST but then it breaks after a very short amount of time! We only used ours for 2 months before it started to stop working. For us a little piece kept getting loose at the top of the mill and the mechanism no longer provided friction needed in order to grind. We were able to get it back a couple of times but then it just falls out. It's so frustrating and I haven't properly seasoned my food in 3 days so I'm getting rid of it! I have contacted them for the so called warranty and will update my review if that legitimately helps.
