Ordered this for my 7 year old daughter. She is slender, with a small to medium sized head. She measures 5 1/8 inches from the bridge of her nose to the center of her ear hole. You can see it fits her mouth a little bit. So if your child's head is a bit bigger, I would go for a larger mask. Breathe and she loves the color. I have machine washed it cold and tumble dried it low and it has not shrunk, faded or peeled. Great baby mask.
