I bought first to test. Judging by the reviews, I liked the fact that he can travel with me without taking up a whole compartment in my luggage. My first impression was that it wasn't that soft and I was skeptical about its absorbency. I followed the directions and soaked it in water for 24 hours before using it for the first time. I then tossed it in the wash alone on a gentle cycle (spin cold and low) and let it air dry. Immediately, my previous reservations vanished. It was already softer than when I first got it and boy does it dry fast. In no case would a normal towel dry out in this time. I went ahead and bought 2 more for an upcoming trip that included a water park. I just can't figure out how compact they fold. And don't let the thinness fool you. We could use them all day at the water park because they absorb well and dry quickly between uses. Winner! I am unpacking and have just put them away. Even more impressed! They hold up well and get softer with every wash. I love them so much I felt compelled to write this review for my Revain colleagues. In fact, I'll be adding another one to my cart once I'm done here. Just be sure to care for them as directed: (1) soak for 24 hours to allow the fibers to expand initially - you only need to do this once (2) use gentle or hand wash cycles (3) don't use fabric softener that will negative impact affects absorbency (4) avoid tumble dryers; They air dry effectively while still remaining soft. Bonus tip: Some reviewers complain that the fringes unravel after the first wash. According to another user, I took the time to tighten the knot on each pop before the first soak. Some were definitely weakened and I have no doubt they would have resolved. I'm so glad I did. All my fringes are still rolled up nicely. Lots of offers from different sellers and websites. Prices can vary wildly, but don't let this price tag fool you. You are the real deal and I've become addicted to another. Maybe even two.
