As another reviewer notes, be careful. These filters come with a plastic cap on one end. At first we found it interesting, but we eventually figured out that it was because the rubber grommets on these filters pull out easily. This isn't usually a problem, but if you're blindly trying to figure out where to screw it under the car, they can definitely fall off. We put the filter in place and found a rubber seal when draining the used oil. The car started and it's really dripping oil. When we removed the filter, we found that a gasket was indeed missing. So yes, be careful. This could easily be overlooked if we hadn't found the seal beforehand. Otherwise it is a fine filter. Works as expected.
