Dear subdued women, so we chose this combination. My daughter loves them and the soft ears. The two problems for us was that my daughter at 10 must have very long legs because the socks don't go to the knee or above the knee without putting them on. The second issue for us is that she also has tiny legs so she pulls them up all the time. So who doesn't have small feet like my daughter should be able to wear them and the elastic part holds the socks well. Pulling on something too hard wears it out.
