This is a fully synthetic compressor oil, what more could you ask for? Lately I've always been on the lookout for a fully synthetic oil for any rotating application that requires oil. The benefits of synthetic oil are unbeatable when it comes to heat. Roofers always need their compressors to keep them running consistently throughout the day. Hot sunny days and temperatures in motors and pumps are rising. If you want to extend pump life and increase drain intervals, synthetic oil is your only option. I find a lot of synthetic blends, but full synthetic compressor oils are a bit harder to find, but not on Amazon or Dewalt! It's blue in color so it's easier to know when to change it if it gets dirty. The synthetic oil in the motor and pump should see this contractor through the summer with no heat or oil issues.
