Review on ⚡️ CTEK MUS 4.3 TEST&CHARGE 12V Fully Automatic Battery Charger and Tester by Mod Kindred

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great charger for car storage and RECOND batteries

MUS 4.3 Test & Charge is my second CTEK product (first was Lithium US for my motorcycle). Please note that I may be slightly biased (not affiliated/sponsored by anyone). I purchased this unit specifically to maintain charge in stored vehicles and to charge batteries in vehicles for daily driving. According to the user manual, CTEK recommends a REOPERATION once a year or whenever the battery is completely discharged. If this is your first purchase of this unit, it might be a good idea to rewire it as well. On my BMW F13 650i. Although this car has sat in my garage for most of the last six months, it still keeps a lot of juice. Its original BMW battery has a capacity of 90 or 105 Ah and if it were completely empty it would take a long time to charge it. Yes, CTEK is a lot more expensive than the competition, but it has an automatic sequence for testing, charging, and servicing your battery. Other products will certainly do the job, although I'm not sure they will do it as well as this device. There is a nice feature that splits the loading sequence into a faster loading cycle (<80%) and an absorption cycle (80-100%). Not to mention it tests the battery and alternator so you don't waste electricity charging if it's about to fail again. In general, $100 on this product is one of the best investments in your treasured weekend cars. If you can afford to be entertained, be sure to have a charger handy, especially if you live in colder climates. You don't want a dead battery to ruin a good day, and you definitely don't want inferior chargers to ruin your batteries.
