Review on 🔧 Ultimate Precision: IGaging Combination Square - Unmatched Steel Quality by Eric Nelso

I am a carpenter/carpenter with over 20 years of experience. I went through countless combination squares. My choice has always been the UK Stanleys, but they don't seem to be available anymore, at least not at a reasonable price. I was sick of squares slipping, so I had to overtighten the nut every time I used it, leading to inevitable failure. I have bought well known brand square squares that were not square but rotated slightly 2+ degrees. It's enough to matter. These squares are as square as I can measure with a locksmith's square or by turning them over and drawing a line. More importantly, the head fits snugly against the blade with minimal tension so there is no stress on the mechanism. Cannot talk to the level bubble. Does anyone really use this? The markings are clear and my aging eyes can see them just fine. I've never used a Starrett square, I'm pretty sure it's the bomb. But for everyday use on a construction site, the iGaging squares are more than good enough, and I won't feel too bad about dropping one of these on concrete. I like her weight too.
