I love the retro style it gives my iPad. Allows my Apple Pencil to be charged normally from the side, but the pencil doesn't fit in the pencil case, especially if it has a protective cover on it. I don't mind as I have my iPad at home for my study sessions. If you need a pencil case for transport, you should be aware that even without a case, it will be difficult to put the Apple Pencil in and out of the supplied side case. I wanted to make my iPad case more personal, so I made a sticker with my name on a label machine and glued it between the lines.
