Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ PeeKoal 50 Colors Journal Planner Pens: Vibrant Fine Point Markers for Coloring, Note Taking & Artistic Designs - Art School & Office Supplies by Angela Rodriguez

Minimal bleed

A pack of 50 PEEKOAL markers seems like a good deal to me. It falls out about a quarter at the handle. Because there are so many pens, there is a wide range of colors to choose from. There are samples of all colors on the back of the box, which is very convenient. I usually make my own color swatches, but this saves me a step. The pens don't have their color names printed on the barrel, which would be a nice quality-of-life feature. But at least if I know the color it says on the box I can find the pen. I tried the pens in my bujo on 100gsm paper. I was pleasantly surprised to find very little blood. Some of the darker colors were faintly visible, especially when I was coloring in a sketch, but it wasn't enough to prevent me from using the back of the page. Since I'm left-handed, I took a smear. If I intentionally tried to smear something by swiping my finger over something I had just written, I would have a slight smudge. But otherwise they weren't. Caps are difficult to remove and put back on. They close with a click so you know they're secure, but I practically have to put my pen on the table and press the cap to put it on. The pins are smooth and slippery, as are the caps.
