I purchased this item to replace and upgrade a slightly smaller Rubbermaid canister set. This is about the same wall thickness and overall strength. That is, they are strong, but bend a little. (This is not a Pelican case with the associated weight and cost). Its feature set is killer: a great tilt-limiting knob. I believe they can be mounted on a roof to a cage or trellis post if properly tethered. This is great for organizing things for easy movement. I use it for bulky camping items like sleeping bags and blankets. Get more to organize other things that need moving. It focuses on storage while still ensuring efficient and safe transportation.
