It's thin but adequate and holds up well. Dries immediately after rain. We do 5-7 exercises with the ball on a flat surface. Then filming in the driveway. It needs a flat surface, but our deck works fine. I didn't need the molded rug so it rolls up easily and stores. If we get another brand we'll use both just to get a different putting speed surface. We love that we can leave it on deck and just grab a stick and do some exercises. It doesn't replace a practice green or a real green, but you can work on developing consistent club swings.
