I bought it in February and as you can see it hasn't been used much. This charging tip fell apart at a corner, leaving a piece in the iPad's charging port. I couldn't connect another charger. In this case, I had to take the iPad to a service center to have the part removed so I could put in a new charger. It really sucks when you pay 19.99 for a charger that claims to be such a disappointed Apple product
