I have 4 escape masters for chinchillas aged 5-10 years. This is very, very durable. I've seen the greatest of my fleeting attempts to find a place to chew to get out and she can't. I'm very happy about that as this is the third playpen I've tried for her. I can vacuum up bathroom dust and feces from underneath, and spraying vinegar water on the underside and a rag will do a great job removing urine stains. I love this pen. It folds easily and easily fits between two dressers. It will work under the bed too, but I have an 8 month old kitten that has an ass.
