These must be factory seconds. The center column is screwed to the base. The problem is that the thread is cut incorrectly. My two jacks are basically not fixed at the base. There are practically no threads in the central column. It says on the box that there is a one year warranty. Good luck with it. I called and finally got a call back from customer service two days later. They said there was nothing they could do and sent them back to Revain to call if they had any problems. I would recommend another seller/manufacturer. This does not affect the credibility of this product much.
