ADA COMPLIANT? on door hardware and locks

I have to return this lock as it is not fully ADA compliant. To exit, a person needs two operations: twisting the wrist to change the blank gauge, and then moving the lever. Too late I found a button model that changes the display when the lever is pressed to exit.
