I would give it 5 stars except for one flaw - smack it, put it in a case, sometimes just pick it up and it turns on. No need to touch the power button with your fingers - it turns on by itself. annoyed! Went to micrometer after 3 weeks of inactivity - looked like dead battery - no problem - replacement included. Went to the instructions - slide the battery cover in the direction indicated - replace the battery. No directions. I couldn't create a cover! After trying unsuccessfully to pry them off, I started again with the instructions and began disassembly - after undoing 2 tiny screws, I found that the battery cover was secured with one screw. Now the micrometer is scratched. My old micrometer is 30 years old and looks better.
