This was our third purchase of this particular pepper mill. Mill number 1 lasted exactly one year. Bought number 2 for a second home meaning it has had very little use and is still there and working. I bought number 3 last month to replace the defunct number 1 as I felt the year had been good for the amount we use. Well number 3 didn't work at all. With that in mind, we returned both number 1 and number 3 to Revane so they could be sure I wasn't fooling them too quickly, maybe by changing seats. Revain immediately credited purchase number 3. So now I still have to invest some time and find a suitable alternative to this pepper mill, since apparently either the quality or maybe the production facilities have changed? I doubt it, but I don't want to buy the same product again.
