It was a present for my grandson. The length in the description for the area was spot on. Although I wish they were wider, they were about medium wide. Nice thick soles as described. He didn't complain about the difficulty in wearing them, although he only wore them for a couple of hours, these are his first flip flop sandals. While I got this pair as a discount for my honest, unbiased review, I plan to stock up on a few other styles for the rest of the clan.
