I bought these to do a neat wired GPS installation on a large farm tractor. Since it was almost impossible to hide the wiring, I decided to use a surface mount wiring plan. I used a few of these as I didn't want the wire to sag and become unaesthetic. Any application areas were pre-cleaned with a 50% isopropyl alcohol solution. Having used similar products before with little results, I was cautiously skeptical. Let me tell you - make sure they are exactly where you want them before you glue them because they really do stick! While I haven't tried it, I'm not sure you could just take them off - scraping would most likely be the preferred method. They are small enough to fit anywhere but strong enough to accommodate the appropriate GPS straps. The service and price were great too. And out of 40-50 of the ones I've used, not a single problem with a seal or screed. If there's one complaint, it's that my fat fingers had a hard time peeling the backing off the small 3/4 inch square! Great Product UPDATE: Adhesive Sticky - sticks to surfaces. However, it doesn't hold onto the plastic mount. Everything I installed fell off. Everyone. I reattached them, got stuck, came back a day later, all fell off. If you only want them to last a few weeks, that's great. But if you want them to be permanent, look elsewhere because they won't work.
