Review on Harlow's Earth Protective Crib Mattress Cover: Waterproof Safety & Protection from Off-Gassing (PVC & Phthalate-Free) by Nikki Brooks

Now that I'm not checking my baby's breath I'm sleeping much better. I wish I had known that with my first two kids (9 and 11 years ago) because I used to worry all the time. I've seen reviews saying it doesn't fit, but you just have to follow the instructions, it should fold on the foot. Also, it's supposed to have holes to allow toxins to escape from the underside of the foot end of the bed, away from the baby's face, so I also suggest dismissing reviews of holes in it. I think maybe some people were just confused about how it works. It makes a bit of a "plastic" sound when baby puts it down, but it's not as loud and rustling as I'd suspected based on some reviews. The plastic is durable, so while it doesn't sound as soft as the mattress itself, it's not overly loud. Since we've been using it since we were two weeks old, maybe she's just used to it and doesn't bother him. All in all this is one of my favorite purchases because it gives us such a feeling that she won't die in her sleep!
