An improvement over the DPP400W, however.
I've had the DPP400W for almost 10 years but the on/off button has deteriorated to the point where I had to use a toothpick or something to push it far enough to activate it. While searching for a replacement, the DFP450W came up and I was made aware that the display was on top. It is easier to read in this position than on the side. I have to remove the star because it doesn't turn off automatically, so using it will most likely drain your batteries a lot faster. I still like it better than the DPP400W.
