What seemed like a simple installation turned out to be quite complicated. I'm probably driving long term, all set up and less than 300 miles since install. Firstly, removing the old anti-roll bar can be quite painful as the old one is very badly rusted. When installing a new stabilizer bar (using a torque wrench to a specified torque), I tightened the end of the rod and stripped the threads. The end of the ball joint is tapered, and it would retract the cone if the threads broke. The nut won't loosen or tighten, so I left it on for now as it seems tight enough. The shock absorber itself greatly improves the handling and handling of the truck. My low star rating is obviously due to the fact that I'll probably have to replace this new part sooner rather than later, if only for reassurance.
