I chose these diapers because they are large and have enough layers to prevent leakage. Four of them have beautiful patterns that look like dinosaurs and excavators. Two of them look nondescript and seem thinner than the other four. My 2 year old is tall so I bought a size 4. The diapers are very stretchy and fit him well. They can absorb large amounts of water, but cannot hold them back. I would be uncomfortable using them for nighttime potty training. I just want to clarify that the absorbency is very low and it will leak as well. Do not use it for potty training for more than 2 hours. It didn't save my sofa or mattress.
