Very cute bag. Although the width at the bottom is sufficient, the top opening is too small. This is mainly due to the small, medium sized zipped pocket which is more like a wallet or you can attach a credit card holder, definitely not a full sized wallet. The way the middle pocket is attached pulls the sides of the wallet inward, resulting in an opening of about 7-7.5 inches. I'm afraid that over time it will tear inside. The exterior zippered pocket is technically big enough to stash a phone on the side, but you can't easily access the phone as it barely fits inside. In general the quality seems to be good. The smell is awful and I was about to air it out but after trying to put my stuff in there I realized it was just a small hole. So it's coming back. On a side note, the wallet is scratch resistant but comes folded which leaves creases at the corners on the back. I don't think they will go away over time.
